Cancellation Policy
Payment Schedule
- Deposit: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation
- Balance Due: The remaining balance is due approximately 30 days before arrival
- Late Payment: If the balance is not paid at least 3 days before arrival, the booking will be canceled and treated as a cancellation less than 7 days before check-in, meaning the guest will only receive a refund of the cleaning fee and all taxes
Cancellation Time Windows
- Cancel 30+ days before check-in: Guests receive a full refund of the nightly rate, cleaning fee, and all taxes.
Example: A trip starting June 30 is canceled on May 25 (36 days before check-in). The guest receives a 100% refund.
- Cancel 7–30 days before check-in: Guests who cancel within 24 hours of booking receive a full refund. After 24 hours, they receive 50% of the nightly rate, plus the full cleaning fee and all taxes. The host is paid 50% of the nightly rate.
Example: A trip starting May 30 is booked on May 5 and canceled on May 6 (within 24 hours). The guest receives a full refund. If the same trip is canceled on May 10 (20 days before check-in), the guest receives 50% of the nightly rate plus the cleaning fee and all taxes.
- Cancel less than 7 days before check-in: Guests receive a refund of the cleaning fee and all taxes. The host is paid 100% of the nightly rate.
Example: A trip starting May 15 is canceled on May 12 (3 days before check-in). The guest receives the cleaning fee and taxes refunded, while the host keeps the nightly rate.
- Exception – Booked within 7 days of arrival and canceled within 24 hours: In this case, the guest will receive a refund of 50% of the nightly rate only. Cleaning fees and taxes are not refunded. The host keeps the remaining 50% of the nightly rate, plus the cleaning fee and taxes.
Example: A trip starting May 15 is booked on May 12 and canceled 12 hours later. The guest receives 50% of the nightly rate refunded, while the host keeps 50% plus the cleaning fee and taxes.
